This course is intended for basic to intermediate students. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, malfunction clearing, emergency and tactical reloading skills and how to choose a handgun for home defense. Students will also develop a security plan, identify safe areas within their homes, and locations to store firearms (availability of a firearm during an intrusion is a key factor). Students will also learn one-handed shooting and flashlight techniques.
